Cinematographer Kramen Morgenthau has confirmed on Instagram that Captain America 4 has wrapped filming.
Principal photography for the movie commenced on March 21 this year at Trilith Studios, Atlanta, and ended on June 29 in Washington, DC.
The Writers Guild of America strike began on May 2, after which several Marvel productions were put on hold, all except Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Captain America 4. Coven of Chaos had a successful wrap just a few weeks ago, and so did Brave New World.
During production, the film’s subtitle was changed to Brave New World from the previous New World Order. A new title card was revealed, a better look at which can be seen on this clapperboard:
The film continued filming with smooth sailing until production ended. The only impact the strike had on the movie was perhaps the release date shift to July 26, 2024.
The screenplay is co-written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. Kramer Morgenthau serves as the Director of Photography.
The cast of the movie includes Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson), Tim Blake Nelson (Samuel Sterns), Shira Haas (Sabra), Danny Ramirez (Joaquin Torres), Xosha Roquemore, Liv Tyler (Betty Ross), and Carl Lumbly (Isaiah Bradley).
Captain America: Brave New World releases in theaters on July 26, 2024.
