BREAKING: Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion has officially received a premiere date on Disney Plus, with the streamer updating the listing for a June 21, 2023, release.
Disney Plus’ Secret Invasion page on the streaming service itself seemingly was the first to break the news, with a new update stating that “Secret Invasion will be Coming to Disney+ on 21 June 2023”. See below for a screenshot.
Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been eagerly waiting for news on Secret Invasion, as the series was originally set for an early 2023 release, now confirmed to be coming in mid-2023, fans will surely be relieved to know when to set their dates.
Details as to how many episodes will be premiering on June 21, whether it be just one or two, similar to previous MCU series premieres on Disney+, have yet to be announced by Marvel Studios.
Secret Invasion will see the return of Samuel L. Jackson as MCU’s Nick Fury as he teams up with Ben Mendelsohn to try to stop the Skrulls who have infiltrated the highest spheres of the Marvel Universe, as per its IMDB page.
Cast members include Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Carmen Ejogo, Cobie Smulders, Christopher McDonald, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, with appearances from Martin Freeman’s Everett K. Ross and Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes, aka War Machine.
