One of the lesser talked about MCU projects currently being produced is Wonder Man, an upcoming Disney+ series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe based on the Marvel Comics character Simon Williams, who will be played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
The new filming location for Wonder Man comes from OLV, aka On Location Vacations, who are known for providing tips and information regarding filming locations and celebrity news, usually in the form of a Google Drive document.
According to OLV’s latest information, Wonder Man, which will be produced using the working title of ‘Callback’, will be filming on April 5 at 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles.
This news comes shortly after the recent reveal from Wonder Man director Daniel Destin Cretton that production had started, as he posted an image to the internet that was quickly deciphered to be about the MCU series.
Wonder Man stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams aka Wonder Man, Ben Kingsley is set to return as Trevor Slattery who last appeared in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, with Lauren Glazier, and Demetrius Grosse who has been reported to be playing Wonder Man’s brother, Eric Williams, aka Marvel’s Grim Reaper.
The synopsis of the MCU series for Disney+ is as follows:
Hollywood actor Simon Williams is thrust into the world of superheroes as he gets powers of his own, and becomes the new superhero Wonder Man.
