Benedict Cumberbatch opened up about all things Doctor Strange and Marvel Cinematic Universe during his talk with Nick Hackworth which was later shared by the official Alan Howard / JW3 Speaker Series YouTube channel.
During his discussion which wasn’t focused on anything MCU-related, Cumberbatch briefly talked about his future plans as Doctor Strange for Marvel Studios.
He also talked about a recent conversation he had with New York’s Craig Castaldo aka Radioman about the next Avengers movie.

Revealing that Radioman believed Cumberbatch was filming recently with Harrison Ford in Washington D.C. for an Avengers title when in fact Ford was filming alongside Anthony Mackie for Captain America: Brave New World.
Doctor Strange is not expected to appear in the next Captain America movie.

However, the Avengers: Endgame star continued to say that he’s fairly keen on the whole idea of working with Harrison Ford while also showing excitement for his Avengers future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“I know less about that than a rather famed brilliant eccentric that Robin Williams based his character from The Fisher King out of, who then became very well known because of that relationship and well known to anyone who costs with a bag full of photographs to sign called Radioman [Craig Castaldo] who started out as a homeless man who now has a small apartment that he cycles from for two and a half hours often to get to a set to give people – there is a point to this story – to give them photographs to sign and he’s a thing on the scene, especially for filming in New York.
He told me ‘oh you’re going to be working with Harrison [Ford]’ – I’m like ‘am I, where?’ – ‘Washington’ – ‘what in?’ – ‘Avengers’ – I was like ‘oh f**k, okay right you tell me everything’.
So, you know, there’s probably a talk going on now somewhere with Kevin Feige telling people more than I know but I’m along for the ride on that.”
