Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man is now in production! The series began filming on April 3rd and is expected to continue production in Los Angeles until August this year.
The Photograph director Stella Meghie has been set to helm multiple episodes of Wonder Man, and Destin Daniel Cretton may direct an episode as well. Brett Pawlak is the Director of Photography for the Disney+ series.
According to OLV, aka On Location Vacations, Wonder Man will be filming at 615 S Broadway on Friday, April 28. This is the address of Los Angeles Theatre, which is a historic movie palace.
The series will also film at 315 W 9th St, Los Angeles on the same day. You can explore the second location on Google Street View in the embed below:
Destin Daniel Cretton serves as the executive producer of the series, while Andrew Guest is the showrunner/head writer. The series will feature Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery, and Demetrius Grosse as Eric Williams. No other cast members have been confirmed for the series, but Lauren Glazier is heavily rumored to appear in the series.
The synopsis of the comic run for the character is as follows:
Hollywood actor Simon Williams is thrust into the world of superheroes as he gets powers of his own, and becomes the new superhero Wonder Man.
Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man does not have a place on the release schedule yet, but it is expected to release sometime in 2025.
