Marvel Studios are as busy as ever, from planning the next phase to developing their huge batch of upcoming projects. The multiverse saga is well underway in the MCU, all leading to the inevitable showdown known as the ‘Secret Wars’.
However, with these many projects in development, reports are just coming in left, right, and center… naturally. The latest report now coming from Daniel RPK, with some exciting casting information about the movie.
Villain Role Report For Thunderbolts
News about the Thunderbolts movie comes in the form of a casting report via Daniel RPK, with information about a lead villain role.
The casting calls for a lead male between his 30s to 50s, to play an ‘evil superman’-like villain.
What is more interesting about this report though, is the fact that it mentions that Ryan Gosling or Alexander Skarsgård is up for the role.
These are two actors that have been on many fan-casting lists, with Ryan Gosling being fan-demanded to play Nova in the past. Although, an ‘evil superman’ type villain suggests a completely different character.
Who Could The Villain Be In Thunderbolts?
Many characters from Marvel Comics have the potential to play a villain part in the Thunderbolts movie. However, now all have the potential to pull off being nicknamed the ‘evil superman’ of the MCU.
Funnily enough, when people think about an ‘evil superman’ these days, it may be difficult not to think about Homelander. Nevertheless, one Marvel villain who has been compared to Superman in the past is Hyperion.
Unfortunately, though, no other details have been shared, so it is just pure speculation until anything is confirmed.
