Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four movie has garnered an increasing amount of interest in regard to its casting. Specifically the casting for the team’s four main members Reed Richards, Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, The Thing, and the Human Torch.

Alongside the high interest have come rumours of various people who could be up for the role, most recently Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman being the most discussed. One recent name that has popped up in discussions is Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One star Vanessa Kirby – who has been rumoured for a while now to be in talks for the mentioned role of Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman Sue Storm.
Vanessa Kirby Responds To Recent Sue Storm Rumours
When talking to ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis about Dead Reckoning: Part One, Kirby briefly responded to the rumours by seemingly confirming she’d be happy to take the job while still leaving it unclear if she has indeed had any conversations about it.
“It would be an honor [to play Sue Storm in the MCU]”.
Vanessa Kirby
Kirby was sitting next to her Mission Impossible co-star Pom Klementieff while responding to the MCU rumours. This sparked a response from Klementieff, naturally, as she has been in various projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most recently as Mantis in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
“Oh, yes! I’ve heard about those rumors (…) We could work together!”
Pom Klementieff
Klementieff’s comments seem to indicate that she might not be done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe quite yet. Could we maybe be seeing more of Mantis too, perhaps?
