After recent leaks that showcased Nitara as a playable character, it has finally been officially revealed by NetherRealm Studios on the official Mortal Kombat 1 socials that Nitara will be a Playable character in Mortal Kombat 1.
Fans can now rejoice. Nitara is finally back after 17 years when she was last in Mortal Kombat Armageddon where she was sporting a whole different look with an eyepatch. That has all changed now with the latest addition.
This isn’t even the biggest news from this announcement yet. Megan Fox will be voicing Nitara in Mortal Kombat 1, this is the second actor voicing a character in Mortal Kombat 1 if you include Jean-Claude Van Damme who will be a Johnny Cage skin in the Premium edition.

Megan Fox is known for her roles in Transformers, Teenage-Mutant Ninja Turtles and Jennifer’s Body which gets referenced in a double entendre in the trailer.
It is also best to note that Megan Fox being in the game in some shape or form was rumoured back in May on the Sacred Symbols podcast where it was also said that Travis Scott would be in the game.
Colin Moriarty also stated that his source mentioned the Jean-Claude Van Damme skin. So now that two things have been confirmed, can we expect to see Travis Scott in Mortal Kombat soon?
Mortal Kombat 1 releases on September 14 for early access with the Premium Edition and on the 19 for Standard Edition owners. It’ll be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC Via Epic Games Store and Steam.
