Are there any Mortal Kombat fans around? Because we just got some major news coming in.
Mortal Kombat 1 has introduced a new feature called Kameos. Kameos almost work like a tag team character, you’re able to call them out to assist you in fights, they have their own throws, part of the fatal blows and even have their own fatalities.
Mortal Kombat Brazil Reveals Guest Kameos
Now, Ed Boon has already confirmed via the Mortal Kombat 1 website that the Kombat Pack will feature five new Kameo Fighters. These fighters have not been announced but thanks to some Brazil Marketing, we might have an idea as to who we could be seeing.

On the Mortal Kombat subreddit, u/jamiegorevan shared that Brazilian Marketing has revealed that there will be Guest Characters also as Kameo Fighters.
This is big news as it allows for more Guest Characters to appear in the game which is one of the purposes of Kameo Fighters, to allow more characters in the game that can’t be playable.
Fans on Reddit have already started theorising but we at CoveredGeekly have some theories of our own, some understandable… and some ridiculous ones.
Who Will Mortal Kombat 1’s Guest Kameos Be?
We already know the three guest characters that we’re getting in the Kombat Pack and that’s Homelander, Omni-Man and Peacemaker. Now the obvious choice is to give out some guest Kameo characters that relate to these three guest characters.
Homelander’s Guest Kameo Character?
For Homelander there’s a number of characters they could choose from. The obvious answer could be anyone from The Seven and I think if they were to choose a Seven member, we could get Black Noir as he has a personal connection to Homelander.
I also think another option that’s likely would be Starlight, we have already received those three characters in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 so it’s not too far-fetched to think they would be in Mortal Kombat 1.

An outrageous option that could be a guest Kameo character for Homelander would be Stormfront. She’s also close to Homelander and would seem cool but might just be too similar to Raiden, who we have seen as a Kameo in the Story Mode footage though that could just be exclusive to that mode.
Omni-Man’s Guest Kameo Character?
Next up we have Omni-Man. The obvious choice is to have his son Invincible be the Kameo Guest Character but I think depending on the release date of Invincible season 2, we could get some other characters to be the Kameo Guest Character.

Such as Conquest but that could be less likely as they only add popular characters and he would be new to viewers of the show. Another Invincible character that would be cool to see as a Kameo Guest Character would be The Immortal but if we’re being honest with ourselves, Invincible is probably getting the spot.
Peacemaker’s Guest Kameo Character?
The final guest character is Peacemaker – there aren’t a lot of options for him as there aren’t that many characters in his show that I think could appear as a Kameo Guest Character but Vigilante would be a great choice.
If we want to take characters from Peacemaker’s other appearances then we could look at The Suicide Squad. If looking at that film, there are a couple of characters we could grab from that team-up.

Harley Quinn is number one on that list with Bloodspot coming in a close second and I think the final character they could choose which would work perfectly is King Shark. I doubt they’ll reach out into the film so it is most likely we could see Vigilante for Peacemaker.
Could Mortal Kombat 1’s Secret Guest Kameo Be…
Now for my most outrageous choice for a Kameo Guest Character that has no relation to any of the already mentioned Guest Characters. Shaggy.
Scooby Dooby Doo…’s best friend, yep, we said it.
This would be the perfect opportunity for Ed Boon to add Shaggy to the game, it would stop people from asking as he would be in the game even if not as a main fighter.

It also wouldn’t be hard for them to get as Shaggy is a character that’s owned by Warner Bros., the company that publishes Mortal Kombat. This is a character that I’m sure every Mortal Kombat fan with a sense of humour would love to see.
