Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Charles Manson actor Damon Herriman has officially been cast as the live-action Quan Chi in Warner Bros. Pictures‘ sequel Mortal Kombat 2 — the evil sorcerer who’s responsible for many wrongdoings during the original games.
Herriman is well-known for his two-time portrayal of Charles Manson as seen in Quentin Tarintino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and in Netflix’s Mindhunter. However, the roles were only connected by name and history, not by project.
Mortal Kombat 2 Movie: Damon Herriman Is Quan Chi
If you remove the hair on Herriman’s head along with his facial hair, you get a better-painted picture of what he may look like as Quan Chi – without the extreme paleness and red tribal marks around his body, of course.
The sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie has made many casting announcements as of late. It’s safe to assume that the movie’s main roster of cast members may be coming to a completed state soon meaning production may be right around the corner.
The Mortal Kombat 2 movie has not yet announced a release date.
