YouTube creator Rosanna Pansino recently accused fellow creator MrBeast aka Jimmy Donaldson of ‘editing’ her out of the top three winners during his “Creator Games” series.
The MrBeast-created series was posted to his main YouTube channel back in 2021, with each instalment pinning famous YouTube celebrities against each other in challenges such as the “Extreme $1,000,000 Hide and Seek” (currently 97 million views on YouTube).
Pansino, who is known for her baking and lifestyle content, appeared as a contestant in all three parts of the “Creator Games” video series.
Now, two years after the series, the YouTube personality has stepped out to claim that she came third place in the aforementioned “$1,000,000 Hide and Seek” challenge – despite the video not featuring her in the top three, instead it featuring creators Zach King, Larray, and Logan Paul.
Pansino revealed this first on Trisha Paytas’ podcast “Just Trish”, where she says she waited to talk about her MrBeast challenge experience as she did not want to face the potential but likely backlash from the massively popular YouTuber’s fanbase.
Pansino mentions in the podcast that she also stopped watching MrBeast content, as she no longer believed his content was ‘real’ despite the creator always telling people the opposite.
She said: “MrBeast had edited the video to make me look like I performed worse than I did, this was upsetting because I genuinely believed him when he said that his videos are ‘authentic and real’.” She claims that the actual top three winners of the above-mentioned challenge consisted of herself, Quackity, and Zach King.
Pansino later released a public statement about her claims, detailing that she remembers Logan Paul being announced as found while she was still very much in hiding during the challenge. The statement also describes how the original top three contestant, Larray, had fallen asleep during the challenge and was disqualified – despite being shown in the top three in the video itself.
She says how excited she was to have come third during the competition, along with Quackity who apparently placed second place despite also not being shown as a top-three winner. It’s unclear as to why the two creators would have been ‘edited’ out of the top three, however, Quackity also spoke out about the incident.
“I thought I had placed 4, however, Larray had fallen asleep and hadn’t moved in a long time. So, he was disqualified. This meant I got 3rd place,” she said in her statement.
She added: “When I arrived to the field, I saw MatPat and Logan [Paul] there because they were seekers now. Jimmy [MrBeast] said he was going to go look for Zach [King] and asked if anyone wanted to join him.”
She also says that she offered to help MrBeast find the remaining hiders, however, he “said he wanted to take Logan [Paul] instead,” so she “hung back to start looking for Zach [King] in a different direction with MatPat.”
“That is what actually happened,” Pansino claims. “Despite Jimmy editing the ONLY FEMALE in the top 3 [out], I was proud of what I had achieved.”
One fan writes ‘Why not get MatPat or anyone else to back you?’, however, it doesn’t seem as if many creators have spoken out on the incident as of yet — stay tuned for updates.
Creators involved such as MrBeast, Logan Paul, MatPat, Quackity, among others have yet to comment.
