Elon Musk took to X (formerly known as Twitter) today on August 11 to seemingly confirm recent rumours that he would be professionally fighting fellow billionaire and founder of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg.
Rumours and reports broke out recently that the two tech giants would be going toe to toe in the beautiful and enriched history country, Italy.
Despite reports breaking out recently that UFC’s Dana White was set to host the event, Musck confirmed that UFC will not be managing the event.
“The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC).”

Musk also confirmed that he spoke directly with the Prime Minister of Italy and their Minister of Culture, stating that they “agreed on an epic location” to be used for the potentially internet-breaking MMA event.
The SpaceX and Twitter boss also revealed that all proceeds earned during the event will be donated to veterans, making this a charitable event.
“Everything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy and all proceeds go to veterans”.

Where To Watch Live: Musk Vs. Zuck
As confirmed by Musk in his social media announcement, the event will be hosted live and live-streamed on X (Twitter) as well as on Zuck’s Meta.
“Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all.”

Musk recently tested out a quick live stream on X (Twitter) not too long ago, something that could either be in preparation for this event or a feature that will just be mass-marketed due to the event itself.
One thing’s for sure, live streaming on X (Twitter) will be the last thing on anybody’s mind during the upcoming MMA battle between the two tech industry legends. Dana White may still potentially be set to host the event.
As of writing, it is unclear as to when exactly this event will be held, just that it will be hosted in an “epic location” somewhere in “ancient Rome”.
