Production has started on Stranger Things Season 5 according to a now-deleted tweet made by the official Netflix France Twitter account. The reply tweet to a Stranger Things post read “la saison 5 est en production” which when translated to English read “season 5 is in production”.
The tweet was deleted around an hour or so after being posted to Twitter for reasons unknown at this time. It could be that the Netflix France Twitter team just made an honest mistake or perhaps confirmed the news earlier than planned. Netflix has yet to make a public comment in regard to the production status of the final season of Stranger Things.
