The third and final season of Netflix’s Ragnarok series officially releases on August 24, 2023. The release date was surprisingly announced today June 15 via a short video posted on the show’s official social media pages.
David Stakston is set to return as Magne aka Thor, and Jonas Strand Gravli as Laurits aka Loki, with more returning cast members set to star alongside them.

Herman Tømmeraas will be reprising the role of Fjor alongside Theresa Frostad Eggesbø‘s Saxa who may just be having a bit of a romance-esque storyline with Stakston’s Magne this time around.

Additional plot and character details are being kept under wraps. It should be safe to assume that the third season is set to see Jörmungandr aka the World Serpent grow to its full size and start causing havoc in the fictional town of Edda in Hordaland.
The cast who made it out alive in season 2 are all set to reprise their roles for season 3 with some new faces, of course, expected to show up throughout in the final season.
