Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka is set to premiere on Disney+ in around two months or so in August. Despite the release being relatively close, plenty of reveals and secrets are still being kept close to the chest by the Star Wars spinoff’s team.
Besides the almost 2-minute-long teaser trailer, footage of the upcoming series has been somewhat dry since originally announced. However, in Empire Magazine’s latest issue, brand-new episodic stills featuring characters such as Hera Syndulla played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) are revealed.

Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano and Winstead’s Hera stand side by side in this new image (above). Hera is a Twi’lek revolutionary leader in the Star Wars universe. Winstead’s adaptation of the character essentially looks identical to her animated counterpart.
Alongside Dawson and Winstead include cast members such as the late Ray Stevenson who stars as Baylan Skoll, Wes Chatham as Captain Enoch, David Tennant reprising the voice of Huyang, Temuera Morrison as Captain Rex, with Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader, and the first-ever live-action version of Lars Mikkelsen’s Grand Admiral Thrawn, among others.
Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson, premieres exclusively on Disney+ on August 23.
