Blumhouse released the first official teaser trailer for their 2023 live-action adaptation of the popular video game series Five Nights at Freddy’s yesterday May 16th, offering FNAF fans a real first look at Josh Hutcherson’s Mike Schmidt, Matthew Lillard’s William Afton, Freddy Fazbear and his gang of animatronics, among others such as Elizabeth Lail’s Vanessa and Piper Rubio’s Abby.
Shortly after the release of both the first teaser trailer and various posters, including individual character posters for the four main animatronics, two behind-the-scenes images from the set of the movie surfaced online, with one coming from an extra who shared details of her experience filming.
New Behind-The-Scenes ‘FNAF’ Images
The first image comes from a YouTuber known as Dolly Dachshund, who says she worked on the Blumhouse title as an extra, sharing specific details that she can be seen in a background shot during the official teaser trailer for the movie.
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, the iconic location from the Five Nights at Freddy’s game series, is a prominent set shown during the almost-minute-long teaser trailer, with one scene showing Hutcherson’s character watching a pre-recorded videotape of an ex-employee onboarding new recruits.
In this particular scene, many customers most likely paid actors played by actors, can be seen having a blast in Freddy Fazbear’s food and entertainment establishment, with one blurry extra being Dolly Dachshund, who kindly shared the behind-the-scenes look on YouTube.

This next image comes from a Twitter account known as @FNAFMovieInfo, which shared the image promptly after the release of the first trailer, with a caption that reads “A behind-the-scenes image of Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica’s heads from Blumhouse’s ‘FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S’.”

The confirmed cast, so far, for the live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s movie includes Josh Hutcherson as Mike Schmidt, Matthew Lillard as the evil William Afton, Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa, Mary Stuart Masterson, Kat Conner Sterling as Max, Piper Rubio as Abby, Grant Feely, Christian Stokes as Hank, Joseph Poliquin as Carl, Ryan Reinike as Freddy’s Security Guard, Jophielle Love, Ethan Jamieson, Wyatt Parker, Lucas Grant, Liam Hendrix, Bailey Winston, Asher Colton Spence, Victoria Patenaude, Xander Mateo, David Huston Doty, and Garret Hines as Mike’s Dad.
Adam Hann-Byrd (Jumanji) has been cast as the voice of Freddy Fazbear, aka the titular character, with Stacey DePass (Ruby Gloom) providing the voice of Chica, with various reports online stating that Roger Joseph Manning Jr. will be voicing Foxy, John Sanford Moore as the voice of Bonnie, Jane Wheeler as the voice of The Puppet, with Ted Atherton voicing Golden Freddy, as per recent reports.
Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s comes to theatres and Peacock on October 27, 2023.
