Blumhouse‘s Five Nights at Freddy’s might just be the most anticipated movie of 2023, with hundreds of thousands of fans on the lookout for news every day since Blumhouse announced back in 2017 that they had acquired the rights to make the flick.
The latest news from the upcoming Blumhouse FNAF movie comes in the form of new behind-the-scenes images featuring an angry-looking Freddy Fazbear.

Horror enthusiast JonnyBlox took to Twitter to share various new images of actor Justin Michael Terry jumping into the live-action Freddy Fazbear suit to test it out.
Freddy’s suit was hand-made by the famously known Jim Henson’s Creature Shop who have credits such as the Harry Potter Saga, Star Wars Saga, and more under their belt.

In the newly shared images below, it’s clear how much effort and detail went into crafting the live-action Freddy Fazbear suit for Blumhouse’s 2023 adaptation.
Freddy’s facial expression in some images even shows off some eyebrow action that fully teases the more horror-like Freddy who is mostly seen in the original games.

However, the movie is set to dive much further back into flashbacks that show Freddy in his prime, pre-filled with the soul of one of William Afton’s victims.

Matthew Lillard (Scream) who stars as the movie’s main antagonist Steve aka the Purple Guy aka William Afton recently confirmed plans for at least two additional sequels.

This makes sense when considering the level of effort that has gone into creating the behind-the-scenes suits and props to bring the iconic game series to the silver screen.
As of writing this article, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has not been officially announced by Blumhouse. It is highly expected, however, to be officially green-lit, if not already, post-release of the first instalment this Halloween.
Blumhouse’s live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s releases in both theatres and on Peacock on October 27, 2023.
