Ciarán Hinds (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2), Tanya Moodie (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) and Rory Kinnear (The Imitation Game) have joined the cast of Amazon Prime Video’s second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
The news was directly broken via the @LOTRonPrime Twitter account, which is run by the marketing team behind the high-budget LOTR series set during the Second Age of Middle Earth. Details as to who the new cast members will be playing were sadly not shared, staying true to the secretive production of the series.

Hinds is known for roles such as Aberforth Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Roy Bland from Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and most recently as Sir Martin Angelis in Treason which starred Charlie Cox.
Details as to who Hinds is playing in the LOTR series have not yet been revealed.
Tanya Moodie Joins ‘Rings of Power’ Season 2
Tanya Moodie will be officially joining the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power‘s second season for Amazon Prime Video’s streaming service.
Moodie is known for roles such as General Parnadee in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Meg in Motherland, and most recently Serena in Raining Dogs.
Details as to who Moodie is playing in the LOTR series have not yet been revealed.
Rory Kinnear Joins ‘Rings of Power’ Season 2
Rory Kinnear will be officially joining the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power‘s second season for Amazon Prime Video’s streaming service.
Kinnear is known for roles such as Detective Robert Nock in The Imitation Game, Bill Tanner in Quantum of Solace and Skyfall, and most recently as Dave in Netflix’s Bank of Dave.
Details as to who Kinnear is playing in the LOTR series have not yet been revealed.
