Deep Silver’s upcoming Dead Island sequel game Dead Island 2 has revealed a new character that players will be able to play as, named Bruno who is credited as being a smooth-talking thief. Bruno is one out of six characters revealed so far, with the official Dead Island website revealing that more will indeed be coming soon.
Bruno is also credited as being a hustler from Los Angeles who loves a challenge and absolutely hates corruption, however, this was most likely before zombies started taking over everything. You can watch the short promotional clips on the official Dead Island website or social accounts, one clip shows Bruno with other main characters facing a horde of zombies, with the other clip showcases Bruno’s abilities.
Bruno’s description on the official website: “Bruno is a calculating hustler who always has a plan, both for pulling off heists on big-time scammers and spammers before the zompocalypse and for taking down the undead now. Born and raised on the streets of LA, he’s always hidden his lethal knife skills behind his disarming Californian charm. Those skills ensure that his targets won’t talk about Bruno – no, no.”.
The new character’s “Innate Skills” have been revealed to be “Backstab”, which is a skill that moderately boosts Bruno’s damage when attacking zombies from behind, plus “Rapid Reprisal” which boosts Bruno’s agility and heavy attack charges when you avoid attacks with the block or dodge command.
