It has been over six months since the release of Marvel Studios’ ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, yet new information still surfaces even to this day. Despite the already impressive cast and storylines included in the film’s plot, a lot was actually cut from the final version.
This was due to the premise of the multiverse, the number of possible characters and surprises would have been endless, hence the vast amount of ideas not making it to the final cut.
New Concept Art Reveals Iron Monger and More
Concept artist Soren Bendt has, after half a year since release, revealed various concept designs for ideas that ended up not being utilised in the movie.
In the design below, you can see Iron Man’s Iron Monger alongside Captain Carter, Captain Marvel, and even Balder the Brave; who was originally supposed to be played by Daniel Craig.
If you haven’t heard until now, the MCU-Illuminati team lineup had various drafts until being finalised into the lineup we got to see in theatres.
The next image from the batch of newly released concept art shows a familiar setting of Iron Legion bots going up against the MCU’s Scarlet Witch. However, this is something we did get to see during the intense action scenes inside the Illuminati headquarters; still cool though!
Next up we have an unknown character placing some sort of object, also unknown, inside an Iron Legion Bot… interesting. What could it be, who knows, maybe we are in need of a serious update from the production team.
Lastly, and without further ado, Patrick Stewart’s Professor X inside the same room where he faces Scarlet Witch, which this concept art could very be a design for.
