WWE and Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson (51) has another waxwork figure to add to his list as the Grevin Museum in Paris, France was revealed on Monday.
As with other waxwork figures based on famous people, the goal is to capture the likeness of whoever the figure is based on.
Grevin Museum’s waxwork figure resembles the actor well, from facial features to his muscular tattooed physique.
However, Johnson’s fans were quick to share their reactions online due to being convinced that ‘something was missing’ from his latest waxwork figure.
The museum’s choice to create a waxwork figure based on the Fast and Furious star came after a public competition was announced to the public, where people could vote for which A-lister to add next to the gallery.
Johnson received the most votes against names such as Tom Holland, Zendaya, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Chris Pratt, and Margot Robbie.
As mentioned, reactions were quickly shared to social media post-reveal, with many fans agreeing that ‘something’ was ‘missing’.
Reactions such as ‘It’s very… white. The face isn’t very unifying either! and ‘Yeah, I think it’s wrong with the eyes anyway.’.
You can currently find the new waxwork figure placed in between George Clooney, Meryl Streep, and Leonardo DiCaprio – shouldn’t be too hard to miss!
