Captain America: Brave New World has been revealed to be filming in Washington, DC with rumours that filming will take place at the capital city’s War Memorial.
An official notification labelled several locations as “no parking”, including the following streets: 15th Street from G Street to Constitution Avenue, NW, F Street from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW, Upper Pennsylvania Avenue from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW, and Lower Pennsylvania Avenue from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW.
Earlier in March this year, it was already confirmed that Marvel Studios was coming to the capital city for an upcoming production.
At a press conference hosted by Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), OCTFME (Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment) Director LaToya Foster teased the upcoming title:
“And I know you all will be excited about this. We have Marvel coming to Washington, DC. I can’t give you too much about that, but let me tell you, we’re going to have a huge Marvel film taking place right in downtown that you won’t want to miss out on.”

A slide in the presentation also confirmed that filming was set to take place in June.
Captain America: Brave New World releases in theatres on May 3, 2024.
