The highly anticipated Godzilla spinoff Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has received an exciting update regarding its release.
As per screenshots from the latest TV Guide issue posted on X, it has been officially confirmed that the MonsterVerse series, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, is scheduled to make its debut on Apple TV+ this November.

It has also been revealed that in the series, Godzilla will be accompanied by both familiar and newly introduced Titans, indicating that the show will not primarily revolve around the iconic Kaiju.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is a 10-episode MonsterVerse series which was announced back in 2022.
The series is set to become the second MonsterVerse series to premiere in 2023, following the debut of Skull Island on Netflix back in June.
What Is Legacy of Monsters About?
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is an anime-inspired adventure series which takes place during the 1990s, approximately two decades after the events of the 2017 movie Kong: Skull Island following a group of explorers with good intentions who find themselves shipwrecked on an island teeming with colossal creatures.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters revolves around a family uncovering their hidden ties to the secretive Monarch organization.
The official Synopsis of the MonsterVerse series is as follows-
“Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that levelled San Francisco and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.”
“Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw, taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga — spanning three generations — reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives.”
Cast and Release Date
The Apple TV+ series was created by Chris Black and Matt Fraction, with Chris Black also assuming the role of showrunner. Matt Shakman, known for Wandavision and Fantastic Four, has directed the first two episodes of Monarch.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters cast includes Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Kiersey Clemons, Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, Mari Yamamoto, and Elisa Lasowski.
Executive producers are Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Hiro Matsuoka, Brad Van Arragon, Colville, Takemasa Arita, and Andy Goddard.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters premieres on Apple TV+ in November 2023.
