The mid-credits scene of Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania was one of the craziest ones in all of MCU history. It gave us our first glimpse at a council of Kangs, and introduced us to several variants who banished Kang (the one we primarily see in Quantumania) to the Quantum Realm. You can read our breakdown of both the credits-scenes here.
@misterkransinski on Twitter shared new set images of a “Lizard Kang” variant, who appeared in the mid-credits scene of the movie. This variant has scaly skin and nose-slits, resembling a reptile. Kang’s scars – running vertically along his eyes – are prominent.

Although we don’t know if Jonathan Majors was behind the face mask of this particular variant, it’s safe to assume that he did, indeed portray this character as well.

They also shared an image of the Variant, now wearing Kang’s iconic helmet.

The user went on to share an image from visual development, giving us a better look at how the mask would look on Majors’ face.
Kang’s Next MCU Appearance

We know from the post-credits scene of the movie that Victor Timely, a variant of Kang will appear in Season 2 of Loki. According to Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus, he is expected to appear in at least 3 episodes of the series.
Speaking with Den Of Geek, Quantumania producer Stephen Broussard had this to say when asked if Kang might be appearing in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie:
“I don’t want to speak too specifically about what might or might not happen in that film [‘Fantastic Four’]. They obviously have an amazing rogues gallery, and the sky’s the limit with them. But Kang as a force, Kang as a plurality, feels very exciting to us, and I think there will be no corner of the MCU that won’t be affected by Jonathan and by Kang moving forward.”
