Daredevil: Born Again is back in New York’s Harlem for filming as of today, with new set images and videos confirming once more that Marvel’s Hell’s Kitchen will be the fictional location being used. Hell’s Kitchen is the fictional location in Marvel Comics where Daredevil both lives and defends, located in the state of New York, and has even homed heroes such as Iron Fist and Jessica Jones.
Krysten Ritter played Jessica Jones during the Marvel-Netflix era of the Defenders storyline, and with the new reboot of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, fans have speculated that Ritter will also be returning for another bout. It’s safe to assume, at least, that Ritter could have some involvement in the 18-episode series Daredevil: Born Again, especially when considering the fact that Jon Bernthal was recently announced to be joining Cox as the Punisher.
Set Videos From ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ In Harlem
See below some new set images and videos taken by bystanders who were lucky enough to get a sneak peek while travelling through Harlem, New York.
In the video attached to the tweet above, it can be seen that a shop in Harlem has been rebranded to represent a shop in the fictional location of Hell’s Kitchen.
The banner of the shop has been replaced with a banner that states “Hell’s Kitchen Grocery & Delicatessen”, with multiple production lights, cast and crew all filming for Daredevil: Born Again.
The next video shown above shows another bystander driving through the public filming location for the series, providing an even closer look at the fictional shop being used in Harlem for Daredevil: Born Again.

The two images above show a view from two angles, in front and above, of the Harlem location being used for filming, one image being directly above what seems to be the fictional shop of Hell’s Kitchen.
Will These Scenes Be Set In Harlem or Hell’s Kitchen?
The scene or scenes being filmed in the Harlem filming location shown above seems to be set in the fictional Marvel location known as Hell’s Kitchen.
Harlem and Hell’s Kitchen are two distinct locations in Marvel Comics, meaning that Harlem will not actually be the prime location for the shots currently being filmed for Daredevil: Born Again.
Theories on a possible appearance from Mike Colter’s Luke Cage now bear less weight due to the additional confirmation that the new Harlem set locations won’t actually be set in Harlem itself. However, it could still be possible to expect a cameo from Ritter’s Jessica Jones, which is just pure speculation at this point.
Sadly, no confirmation or official details from the cast and crew of Daredevil: Born Again have been shared as to what is being filmed or who may be showing up during production in Harlem.
Daredevil: Born Again is set to release in 2024 exclusively to Disney Plus.
