New still images from Disney’s live-action 2023 movie The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey as Ariel, have officially been released online via Entertainment Weekly, with plenty of new looks from the upcoming title.
The first batch of images includes both Halle Bailey’s Ariel and Jonah Hauer-King’s Prince Eric acting out scenes together in The Little Mermaid, see below for all the new images.
Another new image from the movie showcases Melissa McCarthy’s Ursula, the iconic antagonist of the original animated classic, also the character who gives the mermaid, known as Ariel, legs to allow her to walk on land.
Some additional images showcase Javier Bardem’s King Triton and Noma Dumezweni’s Queen Selina, the parents of Bailey’s Ariel, alongside an image of the team behind the movie shooting scenes while standing in a bed of water on location.
