Marvel Studios‘ second season of I am Groot was first officially confirmed to be in development during Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con panel, after which there was a vacuum of news regarding the release status of the series.
Nearly a year after the initial announcement, fans have received a positive release update for the photorealistic series.
The Secret Invasion finale releases on July 26, and the second season of Loki premieres on Disney+ on October 6 this year. This would place I Am Groot season 2 between the two series in Marvel Studios’ release calendar.
Season 2 of I am Groot is expected to have an all-episode premiere, just like the preceding season and Echo which releases on November 29.
