Just 3 weeks before the release of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse in theaters, animation for the movie has been finalized! This information was revealed by Daniel Ceballos, an animator who worked on the film.
Two new spots for the movie have been released by Sony Pictures Malaysia on YouTube, which you can view below:
This 30-second spot features new footage of Miles and Gwen swinging through Brooklyn, Spider-Punk (voiced by Daniel Kaluuya), and Oscar Isaac’s Miguel O’Hara fighting Mediaval Vulture. The infamous Spider-Cat is also seen in a post-title card clip.
This spot features more footage of Miles holding his ground against the Spider-Society, and the war that follows. A new look at Ben Reilly can also be seen by eagle-eyed viewers!
Why Is The Spider-Society Chasing Miles?
Even after 3 full-length trailers and countless TV spots, the main conflict of the movie is yet to be revealed. At some point, Miles betrays the trust of the Spider-Society (headed by Miguel O’Hara) and proceeds to be chased across multiple dimensions. One popular fan theory suggests that Miles will have a connection to the Spot, which would tie in the events of Brooklyn to the entire multiverse. For now, all fans can do is get their tickets for the movie, which are on sale now.
