New team merchandise for Marvel Studios The Marvels has been shared online, revealing the exclusive merchandise for the movie that the cast and crew got while working on the project. This news comes shortly after the reveal of the official poster for the movie, which also announced that The Marvels will now be coming out in November as opposed to the previously announced summer release date. Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani will be reprising their MCU roles of Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel for the new instalment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Parris’ new name being recently teased to be Photon, similar to the comics.
The new merchandise images come from an Instagram user called “The Marvels Brasil”, which is described as being a fan account for the movie. The images reveal three pieces of merchandise, one being a shirt, one being a pin, and the other being a little too obscure to clearly make out. However, all pieces of merchandise are branded with The Marvels logo with the exclusive pin being in the shape of Photon’s logo from the comics, the logo that can be seen on both the main title and Parris’ suit in the official poster.
New The Marvels Merch Images
The first image reveals a simple shirt branded with the Marvel Studios’ The Marvels logo, which was most likely given out to every cast and crew member who worked on the movie. Surprisingly, the title has remained relatively similar in design since the original title was revealed, up to the title shown on the latest poster release.
Another merch image for the movie shows an exclusive pin in a shape that seems to resemble all three logos embedded into each other. These are the same shapes that can be seen on the official poster, and ironically throughout all the characters’ adaptations from live-action to the comics world.
The darker star shape in the background resembles Captain Marvel, the white shape in the centre resembles Monica Rambeau’s Photon, and lastly, Ms. Marvel’s scarf swirls across the front of the pin.
The last image reveals an exclusive piece of merch seemingly only meant for the camera department of The Marvels, the merchandise appears to either be part of a hat, shirt, or jumper. However, the image is just a closeup of the merchandise, making it a little too obscure to fully make out what item it’s supposed to be.
The Marvels comes to theatres on the 10th of November, 2023.
