The first trailer for the Insidious sequel will officially be dropping online on April 19, 2023, entitled Insidious: The Red Door, this new instalment will see the return of the original cast.
Patrick Wilson will be returning as Josh Lambert for the sequel plus serving as director, marking his first directorial in his career, alongside returning cast members Ty Simpkins as Dalton Lambert, Rose Byrne as Renai Lambert, and Andrew Astor as Foster Lambert.
New cast members include Hiam Abbass, Peter Dager, Sinclair Daniel, Mary Looram, AJ Dyer, Jarquez McClendon, Jaylin Loveday, with Juliana Davies playing new Lambert family member Kali.

Plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, however, this first look will reveal what is in store for the Lambert family as they return 10 years after the events of Insidious: Chapter 2, as Simpkins’ Dalton Lambert begins his educational years at college.
Sony Pictures Entertainment‘s YouTube video listing for the trailer describes this new instalment as being the potential finale of the franchise, with a description that teases “It ends where it all began.”
“In Insidious: The Red Door, the horror franchise’s original cast returns for the final chapter of the Lambert family’s terrifying saga. To put their demons to rest once and for all, Josh (Patrick Wilson) and a college-aged Dalton (Ty Simpkins) must go deeper into The Further than ever before, facing their family’s dark past and a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door.”
