We here at CoveredGeekly have been busy as of late keeping our eyes peeled for any new updates on Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and in our constant search, we have just come across an unlisted TV spot on Marvel Entertainment’s official YouTube channel. In this new TV spot for the third installment, plenty of new and edited footage can be seen, with the full promotional video being around 30 seconds long. One shot for example shows Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang with a far less bloody face compared to the trailer that fans got to exclusively watch at San Diego Comic-Con last year in 2022, which is either a permanent change for the PG-13 rating or just a quick edit to make the promotional footage a bit more family-friendly.
There are plenty of new moments from this unlisted promotional teaser for the movie, and we’ve broken each and every single one down in this article, which you can see carefully listed below. With around half-a-dozen new shots revealing even more details than before, plus some even settling debates on certain topics, it’s safe to say that this new spot has featured the newest footage so far. You can watch the new promo at the bottom of the page, where you can see for yourself and possibly even find details that we may have missed.

Ant-Man Protects Cassie Lang From Jellyfish?
The first piece of new footage revealed in this unlisted TV spot for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania shows Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man preparing to protect Kathryn Newton’s Cassie Lang, who is Scott Lang’s Daughter, from an incoming threat of some kind which can be seen further down the article.
In the next few frames of the same shot, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man can be seen quickly putting his suit’s helmet on and leaping toward whatever is heading their way, which can be seen in the next image. However, it still isn’t exactly clear what the creature is, but it is definitely a jellyfish-shape and not a mushroom.
As you can see in the image above, this glowing creature from within the quantum realm is at least visually similar to that of a jellyfish, which will finally settle the debate online about it looking like a mushroom in earlier teasers.
Blood Removed From Ant-Man’s Face
One shot, in particular, reveals a far less bloodied-up face that was shown during the SDCC panel in 2022, which was also shared online despite the trailer being exclusive. In the San Diego Comic-Con trailer reveal for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania last year in 2022, this exact shot of Ant-Man was included, however, the SDCC shot showed Scott Lang in a far worse state than what can be seen in the image above.
It is possible that this newly edited version of the footage will only be used for the promotional content, and not for the theatrical release, but we will maybe just have to wait until it officially releases in February to truly find out. It wouldn’t be the first time that Marvel Studios have made edits to their promotional footage, which has become quite the common practice with the Disney marketing team. Sometimes edits to promos such as spots or trailers are simply made to increase the family-friendliness, and other times to twist certain elements for hyping fans up even more.
New Shots Of Kang In The Quantum Realm
The new promo spot also features a new shot of Kang from inside the quantum realm, and despite the scene itself being teased in earlier promos, this shot of Kang from this scene is indeed new. It could possibly be the scene that features characters Ant-Man, Kang, and MODOK, plus more walking out onto a platform of some kind. Which has had various shots shown throughout several teasers since the original trailer’s debut.
Additional Ant-Man & Ant-Men Footage
In a blink-and-you-miss-it Ant-Man moment in the new promo spot, or at least a blink-and-miss-some Ant-Men, Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang can be seen falling into a bottomless pit of various Ant-Men. This has been seen before in previous trailers, however, this exact shot is completely new and just adds more to the visually Doctor Strange-like madness.
Ant-Man Suiting Up In The Quantum Realm
Ant-Man can be seen throughout all the previous promotional footage wearing his iconic Ant-Man suit while in the quantum realm, however, this new spot features Scott Lang mid-suiting up there for the first time. It is hard to make out due to the limited amount of frames shown, but it seems that this could be Scott Lang falling and suiting up to possibly protect himself, which would tie in with the whole getting sucked into the quantum realm scene.
