Marvel Studios’ latest cinematic release “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has been at the top of discussion in the Marvel community recently. Despite the sequel being an homage to Chadwick Boseman with the original cast returning, we were also treated to a vast array of new characters. Introducing characters such as Namor, Ironheart, Namora, Aneka, Attuma, and more, the MCU is definitely on the path of expansion as always.
Tenoch Huerta’s Namor is being highly credited by fans and critics from around the world for delivering a gripping and captivating performance, while also showcasing influences from the Mayan and Aztec cultures. However, how much of what we saw on screen was in the original concept for the movie, luckily due to recently released concept art, we can answer that right now.
New Namor Concept Art Released
The latest Wakanda Forever concept art reveals various looks for Namor, highlighting some choices that both made the screen and some that did not.

A lot of thought goes into the design of how characters and settings should look before the production of a movie, nothing is overlooked, especially on huge budget franchises.
The concept art for Namor may seem quite similar, however, the designs for his clothing and accessories do slightly change.
In one of the concept art images, you can see that Namor’s skin slightly resembles the same blue color, just like when his people are outside of the water.
Notice how the people of Talokan don’t appear to be as primal and blue as seen in Wakanda Forever, more so futuristic, slightly similar to the Atlanteans in Aquaman.
