Norman Reedus’ The Walking Dead spinoff is set to premiere on AMC and AMC+ this Fall and see his Daryl Dixon travel to France. The last time we got to see Daryl was when he left Alexandria on his motorbike in what seemed to be in search of both Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira’s Michonne.

The spinoff, however, will see Daryl Dixon travel to France without even knowing how he got there in the first place. It has already been established that Rick Grimes is not out of the country, so Daryl will begin his journey further from his friends than expected.

AMC managed to tease a sneak peek at some of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’s footage during the premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City.

In the extremely brief tease, Daryl can be seen passed out on top of a flipped upside-down boat that is eerily drifting across a vast part of an ocean of some kind.
AMC’s official Twitter account for The Walking Dead posted the clip with a caption that reads “Daryl is about to be a fish out of water…”. This seemingly hints that part of Daryl’s journey to France will involve whatever is going on with his boating situation.
How could he have ended up in a situation like that? Could the evil CRM have maybe had something to do with it? We will just have to wait for more to analyse it properly.
