The Walking Dead Universe showed face at this year’s NYCC to discuss the final season, plus their future projects. Such as the Negan and Maggie spin-off series, and Norman Reedus showing up to talk about Daryl’s show.
Reedus took the opportunity to briefly talk about Melissa McBride’s exit from the now Daryl-led spin-off by saying “there’s been a lot of talk. Chill. It’s gonna be fine.”. Which he has been vocal about in the past due to a mixed reaction from the ‘The Walking Dead fanbase when the news originally broke out.
Daryl Spin-Off Update From NYCC 2022
Norman Reedus had this to say when asked about his upcoming spin-off series:
“It’s in France. It’s epic in scale. I mean it’s ducking epic. I’ve been on locations scouted … it’s crazy what we’re gonna do there,” Reedus said. “I think France is going to have a ducking heart attack. It has a different look to it, a different sound to it.” It’s gonna fun. There’s gonna be a lot of familiar faces. Don’t yell at me.”
Norman Reedus – NYCC, 2022
Who do you think Reedus is hinting at when he says “familiar faces”, could he really be hinting at Rick Grimes? It is highly possible now that we have confirmation that Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira are definitely coming back for their very own series.
