Obi-Wan Kenobi is only months away now, with the Disney marketing team giving a fresh reminder through new HD stills. Plus, a tweet from a popular Star Wars account has created a stir in the Star-Wars community. The words “Hello There” were mysteriously tweeted, causing fans to believe a trailer is imminent.
Nevertheless, trailer or no trailer, we can enjoy the HD stills of Obi-Wan’s first season in the meantime.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Getting Up To No Good?
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) seemingly hiding or possibly spying on somebody? Little detail was provided to EW about what was happening in these images, but they did tease a little. According to Ewan McGregor when asked about what kind of Obi-Wan will we see, his response was “We find Obi-Wan at the beginning of our story rather broken, and faithless, and beaten, somewhat given up.”.
Reva The Jedi Hunter
Moses Ingram’s character, Reva, will be playing a force-sensitive Inquisitor who is hunting Jedi-in-hiding. Reva being force-sensitive means she has the ability to actually use the force. Meaning that Obi-Wan might be up for a challenge if found.
What has Obi-Wan Kenobi been up to?
Obi-Wan Kenobi will be looking after a young Luke Skywalker, just as he did in the previous movies. EW’s article goes on to say that Obi-Wan has set up shop on Tatooine, mostly in isolation judging by these stills.
Uncle Owen Returns!
Joel Edgerton, who portrayed the young Uncle Owen in the Star-Wars prequels, is back! Being the Uncle and full-time guardian of Luke Skywalker. This allows Edgerton to give the character more depth on screen.
