The Marvels is one of the most anticipated movies of 2023, and while selected audiences already saw a trailer for the movie at D23 Expo, the rest of us geeks were left to pick at scraps. Just a few weeks ago, we saw the first look at Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris as Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Photon respectively. This received mixed reactions, but what we have now is interesting, to say the least.
First Plot Details For ‘The Marvels’
As first reported by @CaptMarvelBR on Twitter, a Disney press site has released the official synopsis for Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel 2. Read the synopsis below:
Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as ‘The Marvels.’
