Oscar Isaac plays various roles across the Marvel realm of Hollywood such as Marc Spector in Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight and recently Spider-Man 2099 in Across The Spider-Verse. The Dune actor now wants his Triple Frontier co-star Pedro Pascal to join in on the action as none other than a Spidey variant for the next Spider-Verse instalment.
Review: Review: ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ is a Perfect Sequel
Pascal is the face of one of the most beloved Star Wars spinoffs The Mandalorian along with starring in various popular franchises. It wouldn’t be surprising if Pascal was sought out to play a Marvel role at this point in his career. How much time he has to work on more large franchise roles may be a limitation though. Plenty of quick voice cameos from big stars are common so it’s safe to assume that Pascal could easily lend a few words to Sony’s animated Spider-Verse trilogy ender.
Isaac Wants Pascal To Play Spider-Man
While talking to GQ, Isaac was asked if he’d like to see anybody new join the already whopping Spider-Verse cast. His instant response was to suggest The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal. See below.
“They’re so brilliant at finding the right person for the right character, but maybe Pedro Pascal. Let’s find something for him. He should be a Spider-Person, like a cranky, old Spider-Person.”
