“Frasier has re-entered the building!”
Paramount+ has unveiled the first official look at the upcoming Frasier revival series that will see the return of its original titular star Kelsey Grammer as the iconic Frasier Crane – 30 years after the premiere of the very first season!
Starring alongside Grammer includes new series stars Jack Cutmore-Scott (Tenet, Kingsman: The Secret Service) as Frasier Crane’s son Freddy.
Only Fools and Horses’ Rodney Trotter star Nicholas Lyndhurst also stars as Frasier’s “old college buddy turned University professor” Alan.
Additional co-stars include Toks Olagundoye as Olivia and Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve, with Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David.
Olagundoye’s Olivia is described as being Alan’s colleague and head of the University’s psychology department, Grammer’s fictional character Frasier Crane is known for being a famous Psychiatrist.
Writers of the new series include Chris Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Joe Cristalli (Life in Pieces), who also both serve as executive producers with Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo, and Jordan McMahon.
CBS Studios produce in association with Grammer’s Grmmnet NH Productions.
Its upcoming first two episodes are directed by the legendary James Burrows, known for past smash hits such as Cheers, Will and Grace, and including the original Frasier series.
