Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Patti LuPone revealed new information regarding her upcoming project Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
LuPone said that her character (Lilia Calderu) will be part of a coven led by Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness. She noted that Lilia will possess the power of divination, similar to the comics.
We are a coven led by the great Kathryn Hahn. I am a 450-year-old Sicilian witch and my power is divination.

When asked if the witches “sing”, the Beau is Afraid actor revealed that the witches, will, in fact, sing. She went on to reveal that the songs have been written by Kristen and Bobby Lopez, who also composed and produced songs for WandaVision.
They do. Our lead singer is Kathryn. I’m singing backup, and the songs have been written by Kristen and Bobby Lopez.

When asked what it was like to sing backup, LuPone said:
I said, “Listen, I don’t harmonize. I’ve always been a soprano. I’ve always been on the top line.” But it’s just been great fun. There’s no CGI either. What I am seeing on this show is craft.

This isn’t the first time LuPone has let details regarding her character in the series slip either. Earlier this week, we learned that she was playing Lilia Calderu in Coven of Chaos. She also revealed that Joe Locke’s character in the series would be a sidekick/servant of sorts to the coven of witches. You can read more on that here.
