The official trailer for Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania is finally here, and alongside the trailer, Disney also issued a brand new press release with new information regarding the threequel. The press release contains a synopsis, character details, exclusive quotes from the cast and more.
It looks like the Ant-Fam will be split into two groups during the course of the movie. One with Scott Lang and Cassie, and the other with Janet, Hank, and Hope. Clearly, the group will need help from fellow residents of the Quantum Realm, which we might’ve already seen in promo trailers for the threequel.
Jentorra is the strong and respected leader of the Freedom Fighters—a group of displaced inhabitants in the Quantum Realm whose lives were turned upside down by Kang. She doesn’t have time for Scott, Cassie and their problems—and worse, their presence alone puts Jentorra’s crew in grave danger.
“There are living beings in this world and Jentorra is a native,” she says. “You’ll get to explore a lot of the different colonies and the different groups of people that we have here—broccoli man is my personal favorite. We have characters that float, we have blobs, we have mind- readers—all kinds of zany creatures and humanoids and mysterious things.”
We haven’t seen the character in any of the promo material yet, but the D23 version of this trailer featured her as a warrior.
“We’re constantly on the move, constantly running, hiding and trying to fight back and reclaim our homeland,” says O’Brian, who worked in law enforcement herself for several years. “We’re fighting a losing battle—he’s got way more people, we’re outmanned, outgunned. But there’s a little bit of hope we have to hold onto.”
We finally know who Bill Murray is portraying in the movie, and that is Lord Krylar.
Lord Krylar is the governor of Axia, a bizarre and cushy community within the Quantum Realm. Call him cowardly or self-centered, Krylar unapologetically enjoys the high life his status grants him—expensive meals, exotic cocktails and top-notch transportation aboard his huge pleasure yacht. It seems he and Janet are old acquaintances—but the details are vague, and she’d like to keep it that way.
We have other actors confirmed to appear as rebels in this movie as well, such as William Jackson Harper’s Quaz, who is reportedly a telepath and play. a considerable role in defeating Kang.
