Ali Selim directs the series and executive-produces, alongside executive producers Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Samuel L. Jackson, Ali Selim, Kyle Bradstreet, and Brian Tucker. Kyle Bradstreet is also the head writer, and Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams, and Brant Englestein serve as co-executive producers.

Episode 1
This still of Martin Freeman as Everett Ross is from the first episode of the season.
Nick Fury and Maria Hill reunite and discuss all that happened on Terra in the time he was gone.
“That’s a Skrull greeting,” Samuel L. Jackson says of Nick Fury’s head-to-head reunion with Talos (Ben Mendelsohn). “I hadn’t seen him in a while.”
Fury takes his jacket off later on in the episode.

Episode 2
Emilia Clark stars as G’iah, Talos’ daughter. In this still, her character is in a Skrull hideout. “Skrulls are much more able to withstand radioactivity, and there are a ton of decommissioned radioactive sites within Russia,” says executive producer Jonathan Schwartz. “That’s where Gravik has set up his base of operations.”
Nick Fury meets up with Rhodey, and discusses his security detail and the impending “Secret Invasion”.
Episode 3
Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos meets Kingsley Ben-Adir’s Gravik in a restaurant.

Episode 5
Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury explores a crypt marked by rune inscriptions.
Speaking with Vanity Fair, Emilia Clarke revealed that G’iah will be Talos’ daughter in the series:
“It’s hardened her, for sure. There’s a kind of punk feeling that you get from this girl, She’s a refugee kid who’s had Talos for a dad, you know what I mean? Maybe the fact that we didn’t know he had a kid up until this point tells you everything you need to know about their relationship.”

The synopsis for the espionage series reads:
In Marvel Studios’ new series “Secret Invasion”, set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
