Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to be the biggest Spider-Man movie of all time. It is set in 6 different universes and will feature over 240 characters, as confirmed by its directors. Several new webslingers have already more or less been confirmed, including Supaidaman, Spider-Man India, Spider-Woman, Cyborg Spider-Woman, Spider-Punk, Scarlet Spider, and more. The synopsis for the movie states:

Since their last appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, looks like Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield will reprise the roles of Peter Parker, Peter Parker, and Peter Parker in the sequel to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. Read this article till the end to learn more.
Previous Spider-Men To Appear in ‘Across the Spider-Verse’
In an exclusive by The Cosmic Circus, Alex Perez reported that several webslingers would return in the sequel to Into the Spider-Verse. Here is a list of all the Spider-Men mentioned in the article, and how probable their appearance is. Keep in mind that The Cosmic Circus is one of the most reliable sites out there, and previously confirmed Defender Strange and the Book of Vishanti’s involvement in Multiverse Of Madness, as well as Megan Thee Stallion and Wong’s role in She-Hulk.
MCU Spider-Man
Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus exclusively reported that Tom Holland’s Spidey from the MCU Spider-Man Trilogy is set to appear in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The report has been corroborated by a number of their sources. It hasn’t been confirmed whether or not Tom Holland would return to voice the character. However, they are sure of the character from Across The Spider-Verse and the MCU being the same. This was also corroborated by part of EmberOnMain’s scoop on Twitter, saying that “Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland, are all set to appear in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.”
Spider-Man PS4
The exclusive also mentioned that Yuri Lowenthal’s webhead from the Playstation Spider-Man games would also return in Across the Spider-Verse. It is yet to be learned if Yuri will reprise the role. But likewise, the character will be the same one from the games. Reminder that we saw the PS4 Spider-Man suit in Into the Spider-Verse!
Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield
One of TCC’s sources claimed that “there have been discussions about incorporating Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Men as a cameo.” However, we don’t know whether they will cameo in Across the Spider-Verse, or its sequel Beyond the Spider-Verse. EmberOnMain supported this claim as well.
Spectacular Spider-Man & 90s Spider-Man
The same TCC source also said that similar discussions have been held for Josh Keaton and Christopher Daniel Barnes to reprise their roles from the Spectacular Spider-Man and 1994 Spider-Man animated series, respectively. In March of last year, That Hashtag Show exclusively reported that Christopher Daniel Barnes was in final talks to return to the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Across The Spider-Verse. In response to the report, Voice actor Josh Keaton tweeted, “Fingers crossed I get some good news but I’m used to the Parker luck by now.” Talk about manifesting your dreams! EmberOnMain corroborated this as well.
But that’s not all folks, here’s the real blockbuster. Christopher Daniel Barnes’ Spider-Man was spotted on merch for the movie as well! At that time, people (including us folks at CoveredGeekly) thought that it could be John Romita Sr.’s Spider-Man.
