Susan Downey, the wife to Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man, The Judge), has provided an update on the long-awaited sequel to Guy Ritchie’s 2009 blockbuster Sherlock Holmes and 2011’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, stating that the third instalment is now a priority for the Avengers: Endgame actor.
While talking to The Wrap, Susan Downey shed some light on 2018 announced Sherlock Holmes 3 movie, providing a somewhat positive update for fans who have been highly anticipating the next chapter of the RDJ-led Sherlock Holmes franchise.
“Well, here’s what I can tell you. And Amanda can attest to this. Prior to this, we had lunch together with Robert, the three of us. And it was a very specific topic of conversation (…) So yes, it is in the hopper. We’re going to do it when it’s right, with the right people, but it is a priority for the company and a priority for Robert.”
