Hugh Jackman posted a workout picture to his socials yesterday, teasing how jacked he is getting for his Wolverine role in Deadpool 3. Jackman hilariously captioned his social post with “He’s only 46. I’m older. But it’s not a competition.”, comedically calling out the 46-year-old Reynolds to contribute to their online ‘feud’. He also tagged Ryan Reynolds on all platforms inside the post to clarify precisely to who he was aiming his comment.
It wasn’t even half a day before Reynolds responded to the post, within a few hours or so Reynolds responded to all versions of the post, across social platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. In one post Reynolds seems to acknowledge Jackman’s jacked arms, in another, he seems to completely ignore the fact.

Ryan Reynold’s Response To Hugh Jackman
Reynolds took to Twitter to respond with “Beth Lewis – whatever you’re doing it’s working! Your arms look incredible.”, completely ignoring Hugh Jackman and simply congratulating the trainer, Beth Lewis.
Beth Lewis is Hugh Jackman’s fitness coach and is helping Jackman prepare for his role as Wolverine, a character that has been portrayed many times by Jackman, however, he has declared publicly that he wants to get bigger than he has ever been before this iteration of the character.
Reynolds also took to Instagram to share Jackman’s post to his Instagram story, captioning his post with “Kay. I’m drinking milk.”, possibly showing a bit more recognition of the size of Jackman’s jacked ‘wolverine’ arms. The whole joke behind the caption of the post is that Hugh Jackman is getting larger than Ryan Reynolds for the movie, which would make sense as Wolverine is typically depicted as being a large muscular, and hairy mutant.

Everything We Know About Deadpool 3
Ryan Reynolds officially took to his socials to announce that Deadpool 3 will be heading to Marvel Studios, making this the first official MCU installment of the Deadpool franchise. It was also announced that Hugh Jackman would be reprising his role as Wolverine, making it a “Wolverine and Deadpool” movie, something that the fans of both characters have wanted to see done properly for years now.
Hugh Jackman has been vocal about certain elements of the movie, previously hinting that time travel and timeline-jumping technology will be used to make all of this possible, plus to avoid damaging the events of Logan. There have also been some rumors here such as the TVA from the Loki series having a part to play in the movie, but nothing official-official has been confirmed as of yet other than the original announcement.
The movie’s official title is believed to be called “Wolverine and Deadpool”, due to a social post that Hugh Jackman made which saw the actor ‘slip’ those details during a video. However, Reynolds quickly responded and supposably debunked this by comedically complaining about the title suggestion. It had been rumored prior to the two making their social posts that they were considering the title “Wolverine and Deadpool”, but we will just have to wait for an official announcement of some kind from the cast and crew of Deadpool 3.
The villain of the movie has been reportedly rumored to be a female character, however, no official details have been shared by the team behind the movie.
