Lionsgate will now be releasing Saw X one month earlier from October 27 to September 29 due to the movie being so well-tested with audiences.
Deadline broke the news today July 20 that the upcoming instalment in the ever-continuing horror franchise known as Saw will be released early.
Lionsgate also revealed the first look at Tobin Bell’s return as John Kramer aka the titular Jigsaw, the titular antagonist behind all of the chaos.

New Saw X Plot Details, First-Look Revealed
As confirmed by Deadline, Saw X will officially take place between the events of the first Saw movie and the second movie Saw II.
Described as being the “untold chapter of Jigsaw’s final games”, Saw X will see the return of a “sick and desperate” John Kramer who will be travelling to Mexico this time round for a risky and experimental medical procedure.
Saw fans will be familiar with John Kramer having cancer, Saw X will show John attempting to find a “miracle cure” in Mexico that has been confirmed to be a huge scam that defrauds the most vulnerable.
So, as John does, he sets out to take revenge on his medical scammers by putting them through his sinister games that don’t usually end well.
The Saw X trailer is now expected to drop any day now due to the release now only being just over two months away instead of three, so stay tuned!
