The Microsoft Studios and Rare video game Sea of Thieves have officially released their Halo-inspired gear which merges the design of the iconic Master Chief suit with pirate-themed attire. Players can now acquire Halo-inspired gear from the game’s “Pirate Emporium”, which is the in-game shop that sells items such as weapons and emotes.
In celebration of the new gear’s release today, February the 16th, Sea of Thieves released a one-minute showcase that perfectly highlights all of the new cosmetics to hype its fans about the latest addition. This isn’t the first crossover that the developers have added to the game, with popular titles such as the Pirates of the Caribbean even getting the Sea of Thieves treatment back in 2021.

What Halo Gear Is Available?
The number of Halo-inspired items that are available is by far one of the most impressive crossovers yet, from Halo‘s energy sword to a holographic Cortana, fans of the two games are definitely in for a treat with this one. Not to mention the pirate-themed Master Chief outfits, which is surely a first for the Halo franchise, and hopefully not the last!
However, fans of the game who played back in 2019 may remember the Halo-inspired boat that was released for a limited amount of time. The reasoning behind this specific crossover event is simply the fact that Microsoft owns both Sea of Thieves and Halo, making promotions such as this one an inevitability that fans won’t get tired of any time soon. The Halo-inspired cosmetic gear is now available on Sea of Thieves as of today, February the 16th 2023.
You can play Sea of Thieves on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
