This new Secret Invasion episode begins with Fury transporting President Ritson to a hospital, where he is immediately brought into the operating room. Having lost Talos just moments earlier, Fury positions himself to defend the President.
Gravik and the rest of his crew return to New Skrullos, where he is questioned by Pagon for his poor decisions and the cryptic nature of his plan. He proceeds to stab Pagon using his new Groot-esque powers and hushes the rest of the operatives.

He sends some of the operatives to Varra’s house to kill her for being a traitor. He calls “Rhodey” and orders him to keep Ritson alive so that the blame can fall on both the Russians and Skrulls to torment Fury further. The Skrull impostor behind Rhodey’s face is revealed to be Raava.
Raava reaches the hospital, where he is confronted by Fury who reveals he’s known about Rhodey being impersonated. Raava releases footage of Gravik (as Fury) shooting Maria Hill, which makes him the most wanted man on the planet. However, he spares his life and warns him to stay away from the president.
In London, Sonya Falsworth enters the office of MI6 Director Derrik Weatherby who has been impersonated by a Skrull. She shoots him in order to prove his true nature and asks for Dr. Rosa Dalton’s address.

Meanwhile, Beto approaches Gravik and attempts to ask him about Pagon, but is interrupted by a phone call from Raava which Gravil receives. Raava assures Gravik of the president’s safety, after which the Skrull-general gets attacked by members of New Skrullos. Gravik slaughters all of the rebels, including Beto.
Fury meets up with G’iah at what used to be a refuge for people displaced by war, located in Brixton. They talk about Talos’ death, and the next step for the ones against Gravik should be. G’iah reveals which samples were used to manufacture super-Skrulls, which included Cull Obsidian and Flora Colossus (Groot!). Fury advises G’iah to go to Varra to help buy Talos’ corpse, and heads to Finland.
Falsworth meets Rosa and Victor Dalton, both of whom are caught off-guard when Sonya makes sure they know she knows they’re Skrulls in disguise. She burns down their lab and ends up killing Victor for not cooperating with her. G’iah takes Talos’ corpse to Varra, who at first thinks G’iah works for Gravik. G’iah reveals her purpose for being at the house, and both of them disarm themselves.
Back at the hospital, President Ritson regains consciousness and Rhodey tells him the Russians and Skrulls were behind the attack on the convoy. He shows him satellite footage of the Skrull compound and persuades him to nip the problem in the bud. He emphasizes that a Skrull invasion would end with the extinction of humanity.
“I would rather us face a war than extinction.”

Gravik calls Fury and offers him a deal. He tells him that if he brings in “the Harvest” in person, he’ll call the strike on New Skrullos by the U.S. off. Fury boards a private jet, at which point we get a cameo from Rick Mason, last seen in Black Widow.

Varra and G’iah bid Talos farewell and give him a proper funeral. Varra admits that Talos deserved to have a procession of mourners, but wasn’t one for pageantry. She recites the funeral prayer that G’iah sets her father’s pyre alight. Both of them discuss their love for the ones they sacrificed, after which Gravik’s strike team reaches the house. They survive the hostiles – with ease.
Fury arrives in Finland, disguised using the “Widow’s veil” (used multiple times in the MCU), which Sonya and he have a good exchange over. “Audacity” by Stormzy plays when they drive off, which you can listen to below:
During the drive, Fury reveals that he was responsible for the entire mess. During the events of Avengers: Endgame, nearly every Avenger spilt some blood, which contained priceless DNA. After the battle of Earth, several Skrulls, led by Gravik, were sent to retrieve the DNA.
They reach a cemetery, and there, Fury guides Sonya to the burial site of Colonel Nicholas J. Fury. It becomes evident that Fury has several false graves scattered globally, but this is where he concealed the Harvest. Sonya inquires once more why he doesn’t summon the Avengers for help.
In response, Fury explains that relying on superheroes to save the day is not a sustainable solution. He firmly believes that none of them can protect the world as effectively as he can. He attributes the only “power” he possesses to his upbringing by a single mother and the influence of a remarkable woman who surpasses him in greatness.
Sonya questions why he chose to hide the Harvest in Finland, and Fury reveals that it holds sentimental value as he spent his honeymoon there with Priscilla, who, to Sonya’s surprise, is a Skrull. Retrieving the Harvest, Sonya wonders if Fury intends to hand it over to Gravik. Fury responds in the affirmative and enters a nearby small building. Inside he retrieves his leather suit, eyepatch, and a gun.
“It’s time. Let’s finish this.”
