You’ve heard it, and it’s true! Peter Parker will return in next year’s Across the Spider-Verse, just not the one you expect.
The rumors about Josh Keaton coming back to reprise the role of Spectacular Spider-Man from the animated aren’t new by any means. More than a month ago, we reported on an exclusive by The Cosmic Circus, which claimed that discussions had been held for Keaton to voice Spectacular Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
A Beloved Spider-Man Returns
As a response to a fan asking whether a Turkish poster for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse really featured the iconic Spectacular Spider-Man, producer Christopher Miller replied “Yes” .

Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to release in theaters worldwide on June 2, 2023.
