Avengers: Secret Wars is gearing up to deliver an event filled with high-octane action. Adding to the excitement, a new (rumored) name has emerged on the list of characters expected to appear in the film.
Inside tipster “CanWeGetToast” revealed that, before the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Kevin Feige reached out to The Amazing Spider-Man and No Way Home star Andrew Garfield about appearing as his version of Peter Parker aka the Amazing Spider-Man in Avengers: Secret Wars.
The report was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) and it reads: “Before the strikes, Kevin Feige reached out to Andrew Garfield about having his #SpiderMan appear in [#] Avengers: Secret Wars”.
Will Andrew Garfield Be In Avengers: Secret Wars?
Garfield last portrayed Spider-Man in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, a film that featured a multiversal aka Spider-Verse storyline that also involved Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker variants.
Fans have long been speculating about the possibility of seeing him swing back onto the screen as the iconic web-slinger.

If all falls into place, fans just might witness him in action alongside fellow Spider-Men Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire once again, as they have also been rumored to be making an appearance.
It is worth noting that, there has been no official statement at this point from Marvel Studios or Andrew Garfield himself regarding any involvement with Secret Wars.

Avengers: Secret Wars, the sixth installment in the popular Avengers movie series, is anticipated to serve as the conclusion to “Phase 6” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and The Multiverse Saga.
Fans have eagerly awaited news regarding a potential live-action adaptation of the renowned comic book series.

The release date for Avengers: Secret Wars is now slated for May 7, 2027, a shift from its initial schedule of May 1, 2026.
