When you hear the words “Star” and “Wars”, you typically think of things like lightsabers or The Mandalorian, and not usually of drones invading the secret bases of Lucasfilm productions. Nevertheless, arial footage of a recent set from the future spin-off series ‘The Acolyte’ has been captured via a drone and a fan.
The location of the video is from Shinfield Studios, Berkshire, which is located just a couple hours outside of England’s capital city London. Using drones to capture arial footage of this location has been done in the past due to the impressive studio setup, however, this is the first to capture this set on film for everyone to see online.

One commenter noted “Well, at least you don’t have to worry about a Storm Trooper shooting you down. They can’t hit anything.” with another commenter suggesting “I think it’s The Acolyte…a new Disney series based on some Sith lord and his apprentice.”.
When Does ‘The Acolyte’ Come Out?
The Disney Plus Star Wars spin-off series ‘The Acolyte’ has been said to be hopeful for a 2023 premiere, however, it could very well be out in 2024 due to the current filming status of the show.
